National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) UK Fire Cadets use photography and moving images to educate and inform staff, young people and communities, and promote the wide range of activities that they are involved in. These images may be used for advertising, promotion, marketing and safety campaigns.
We hold these photos for a maximum of two years, on our secure intranet system, and we may use these photos on all, but not limited to, the following channels: the staff intranet site, public websites (nfcc.org.uk, ukfirecadets.org.uk), YouTube , Social media (Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter)), educational video, leaflets, publications or press releases. Images taken by NFCC UK Fire Cadets may also be shared with partner organisations, including but not limited to: The Fire Fighters Charity and United Kingdom Rescue Organisation.
Where images may contain children or young people we are required to seek the permission of parents or carers before capturing, sorting and using these images.
All rights to the images belong to NFCC. Images may be cropped or modified for quality or combined with other images, text and graphics. Participation is entirely voluntary. If you do agree to take part but change your mind at a later date. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time under Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
